Pitch4Change Challenge
In this competition, participants will research and analyze a significant economic problem their country has faced and how it was addressed. Competitors must write a 250-350 word pitch that presents the issue, explains how it affected the country, and describes the solution implemented. They should identify who took action—whether the government, private sector, or international organizations—and evaluate how effective the solution was, considering both short-term and long-term impacts.
The pitch should be concise, engaging, and well-researched, making the information easy to understand for all audiences. Participants are encouraged to use reliable sources and demonstrate critical thinking when analyzing the problem and the solution. This competition challenges students to explore economic history, think about policymaking and its consequences, and improve their ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
